College Station, TX – BV Trash Valet & Recycling has been servicing the Bryan/College Station area for over 5-years and is now in a position to give back to the community. To celebrate and thank the community for their support, they started a college scholarship program for high school senior students within the B/CS area. There was an outside committee of published authors and business owners who read all of the thought provoking essays submitted and four deserving individuals were chosen to each receive a $500 scholarship towards their college education.
Not only will the four chosen scholarship recipients each receive a $500 scholarship, but ALL of the
applicants will be honored and recognized for their accomplishments at the Friday, June 3rd Brazos Valley Bombers home game at Nutrabolt Stadium. The Brazos Valley Bombers are providing each applicant tickets to the game for each applicant and their family and friends in order to acknowledge and recognize each student’s accomplishments. The four BV Trash Valet & Recycling 2016 Scholarship winners will be presented on the field during the game.
The following four applicants of the 2016 BV Trash Valet & Recycling Scholarship who will each receive
$500 towards their education are:
Tara Hennigar – A&M Consolidated High School
Myles Martinez – Rudder High School
Mary Starnes – St. Joseph Catholic High School
Rohen Sukkawala – College Station High School
“We are so grateful and excited to be able to give back to the community by providing scholarships to local seniors that are getting ready to embark on their next education endeavor. We only wish we were able to give scholarships to all the applicants and look forward to continuing the program in 2017,” explained Ricky Hux, owner of BV Trash Valet & Recycling.
