Terms & Conditions of Service

  1. Service Agreement
    By subscribing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Your monthly service fee will be automatically deducted from your chosen payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account) via PayPal. This fee covers services for the next 30 days from the payment date.
  2. Cancellation Policy
    • You are responsible for canceling the service if you no longer wish to use it.
    • There are no penalties or fees for cancellation.
    • Upon cancellation, BV Trash Valet & Recycling (“BVTVR”) will no longer provide services, and no refunds or prorated services will be issued.
  3. Ownership of Materials
    Upon initial payment, you grant BVTVR ownership of all materials placed out for collection.
  4. Recycling Bag Requirements
    • Subscribers must purchase their own clear recycling bags.
    • Approved recycling materials can be mixed in these bags without separation.
    • All bags must be securely tied; loose items in the bin will not be collected.
  5. Compliance and Service Limitations
    • BVTVR will not collect items that do not comply with these terms.
    • The list of Approved Recycling Materials may change based on market availability.
    • BVTVR is not responsible for market value fluctuations or the viability of secondary markets.
  6. Holidays
    No services will be provided on the following holidays:

    • New Year’s Day
    • New Year’s Eve
    • Thanksgiving
    • Christmas
    • Christmas Eve
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
  7. Discontinuation of Service
    BVTVR reserves the right to discontinue services for the following reasons:

    • Failure to adhere to terms and conditions.
    • Situations deemed unsafe (e.g., aggressive dogs, excessive waste from unauthorized users, restricted access).
  8. Force Majeure
    BVTVR may suspend or terminate services without further obligations in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

    • Acts of God or natural disasters.
    • Government regulations or civil unrest.
    • Inclement weather or other uncontrollable factors.
  9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
    Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

Definitions

  1. Approved Recycling Materials
    Refer to the “recycling guidelines” on the BVTVR website. This list is subject to change without notice.
  2. Non-Approved Recycling Materials
    Include, but are not limited to:

    • Food-contaminated products, Styrofoam, electronics, medical waste, hazardous materials, liquids, and other prohibited items.
  3. Recycling Bags
    • Must be clear (tinted or not) and strong enough to prevent tearing.
    • Bags of any size can be used, as long as they meet these requirements.

Trash Bin Provision

The 64-gallon high-quality trash bin provided to you is free to use for the duration of your Residential Trash & Recycling subscription.
